He makes the workouts work for you, rather than using a standard cookie-cutter routine, as most trainers do. When we started working together, I just wanted to gain strength. Within two weeks I started seeing big results. I could see the changes in my body's appearance just as quickly.

The difference with Matt is that he really pays attention.  Before you realize it, he'll know your body better than you do. When you have someone who truly cares and who truly wants you to meet your goals, you will want him there to guide you along the way.  To top it off, Matt is also a very funny guy.

Mark BirnbaumBefore training with Matt, I used to hate working out.  Having worked with trainers in the past, I always felt more nauseous, sore, and drained once I left the gym.  Matt is able to create workouts that are effective at achieving my goals without killing me in the process.

Since working with Matt, my clothes are fitting better, I’m leaner and have much more muscle definition, my lifelong back pain has disappeared, and I can play tennis harder for longer.  For the first time in my life, I actually look forward to going to the gym, and I have Matt to thank for this.

What words could I possibly string together to adequately portray someone that has so drastically changed my life?  Matt has been my trainer for over a year and a half now.  During our time together, his passion, drive and commitment have helped me achieve remarkable physical results. Training with Matt was more than a biweekly trip to the gym in hopes of changing my physical appearance. It was also about taking a journey to a place where I could challenge myself and my face my weaknesses. It was about developing strength both inside and out. Working with Matt, I learned a great deal about exercise, nutrition and all around well being. I accomplished a great deal in a short amount of time. With lots of determination and Matt's guidance, I was able to lose inches all around my body, put on muscle, and lose 7 pounds of fat in a period of 7 weeks. When I began training with Matt, my physical fitness was as poor as I can remember it being, but he pushed me hard enough to rapidly improve my health, strength, and stamina.  He was outstanding in his ability to drive me to the edge of my endurance, while still being aware of my limitations. Because of my difficult schedule, I trained a total of two or three times per week.  He patiently worked with me to help me add muscle, lose over 15lbs of bodyfat and drop 4.5’ inches off my waist in 12 weeks of our training. Thanks to Matt’s training, my energy level, strength, and cardiovascular fitness have all improved greatly.  I can now do as many pushups as I was able to do in college, and Matt is entirely responsible!
